Politics 2008

I’m reminded of Paul’s wise counsel: “Test all things; hold fast to that which is good.” Politics seems to dominate the media outlets these days, whether it be television, radio, newpapers, magazines, movies, or the internet. Since we are getting nearer a United States Presidential election, the heat is being turned up and the candidates are furiously jockeying for position.

Good a.m. Gary,

Just finished reading your "rant." It always amazes me how a subject can arise, possibly the first time, and later in the day the same subject is talked about from another viewpoint.
I came in to work this a.m. Three of us were discussing the presidential electees. One brought up the Obama-Muslim controversy. That was a rant! I had somehow missed that factor, but had assumed myself that he was Muslim. Then, I read your article. Thank you for enlightening me to the details. I printed off your comments and plan to have a lively, positive discussion on my 15 min.lunch break with my colleague.
